Before You Apply
- 1.Research BBC's current business priorities — not just what they do. Candidates who cite recent news, reports, or strategic announcements stand out.
- 2.Prepare a genuine answer to “Why BBC?” — not just “because it's a great company.” BBC interviewers want to see genuine passion for media and public service broadcasting. Candidates who can articulate how the BBC's mission (to inform, educate, entertain) relates to their chosen division score significantly higher.
- 3.Gather 5–7 strong STAR stories covering Creativity, Curiosity, Collaboration, and more. Real examples beat generic ones every time.
Application Window
When to apply: Early in the year — roles typically open January–March.
